Hello there! I'm Chey also known as Lady ElectriChey! Not only am I a photo artist, but also a singer and model!
I have been taking photos ever since I could get my hands on a camera, as you can imagine my family called me the paparazzi and generally refused to let me take their photos. Growing up I noticed how much no one wanted to be photographed because of their flaws. It devastated me to think that someone wouldn't want a memory captured because of being "too fat" or because of blemishes. As I got older I became more interested in fine art and surrealism and decided that I wanted to try to make my photographs feel more like a fantasy.
I attended the art institute to learn more about photography. I gained knowledge about many things to improve my technique. I've spent uncountable hours practicing my trade in order to get where I am. During my time in college I had a job working for a company photographing weddings on the Las Vegas strip. That was the best way for me to learn about working with people and how to properly photograph a wedding. I spent time with talented photographers who shared their expertise with me.
I've had many jobs but none have given me the satisfaction that making art and following my dreams does. My main goal is to inspire people to be the best they can be. For me, that means making beautiful art that represents their personality with my style.
My favorite subject to photograph has always been people. I love having a connection with those I capture, it means I can create art that is truly inspired by them.
